JOVA, the new project of the small jewelry manufacturer from Hamburg, needed a state-of-the-art Shopify store with an individual look and feel just in time for a launch event. As the products are of a very high quality and in some cases very expensive, the overall image had to match the brand perfectly. JOVA deals with astrology and the jewelry pieces match the different signs of the zodiac. The products live from imagery and stories, so the store had to have a strong focus on storytelling and imagery.
It quickly became clear that some customizations were needed here - we wanted the Shopify store to fit perfectly with JOVA. With the Shopify Premium Theme Broadcast, we created a solid basis for further code customizations. Some elements were redesigned, some were developed from scratch. We solved cross-selling and smart linking of the individual products to each other with meta fields and a well thought-out product structure. We used Matrixify to bring the products into the store in the shortest possible time.
Once again, the decision to use a Shopify premium theme as the basis proved extremely successful. Together with JOVA, we were able to set up an individual Shopify store that perfectly matched the brand within just a few weeks. Since we had a stable theme base with Broadcast, only a few adjustments were necessary and we were able to focus on translating the brand story into an appealing web store.
With large photos on the product detail page, several images per item variant and cross-sellers matching the star sign, customers can see all product information and the mood at a glance and make a purchase decision.
In addition to the product description, it is also possible to send special requests for a particular product directly to JOVA. A form is used to send the desired product and all the necessary information by e-mail - this saves time in customer service.
