Duve's previous online store had already implemented a number of customizations. In order to improve the design and performance, the store was to be migrated to a new theme. The basic structure was to remain the same and, of course, all previous code adjustments were also to be implemented in the new theme.
Together with Duve, we opted for the premium Impact theme for the relaunch, which already offers many customization options and a great look and feel. To make it easy for Duve to adapt the design and content in the future, we personalized the theme so that many features can be changed directly by Duve without further code adjustments. We also integrated various apps into the new store to make the store even more user-friendly for customers. A major focus was on gifts for customers, which they receive with their order once they reach a certain purchase value.
The result is a user-friendly store with lots of details about the individual products, which stands out from other stores thanks to its streamlined design, adapted to the individual brands in the store. Ideal user guidance and a suitable cross-selling function for the accessories of the various kitchen appliances round off the user experience in the store perfectly.
In order to present the many different colors of the individual products in an appealing way, we have worked with Duve to maintain all product details at variant level and integrate them dynamically. This means that even FAQs can be different for different colors, which sets the store apart from many other stores.
In order to present the various recipes in the blog in a particularly appealing way, we have adapted the classic blog post design in the theme so that recipes can be displayed individually and in a user-friendly way. A major focus was also placed on SEO topics in order to significantly improve the ranking in some areas.
